1. Acceptance and Scope of Terms
- The Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) and SueYouToo.com (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
- By accessing or using the Platform, you unconditionally accept and agree to be bound by the Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.
2. No Legal Advice or Attorney-Client Relationship
- The Platform provides general legal information, automated tools, and attorney referral services. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD THE INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE PLATFORM BE CONSTRUED AS LEGAL ADVICE.
- WE ARE NOT A LAW FIRM AND DO NOT PROVIDE LEGAL ADVICE.
- NO ATTORNEY-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP is created by using the Platform. For legal advice tailored to your situation, consult a licensed attorney.
3. User Obligations and Representations
- You warrant that you possess the legal capacity/legal age to enter into this agreement.
- You warrant that all information submitted — including case descriptions and contact details — is accurate, complete, and lawful.
- YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR DECISIONS BASED ON THE PLATFORM’S CONTENT OR OUTCOMES.
- You will not use the Platform for unlawful purposes or violate these Terms.
- You must not upload or transmit unlawful, defamatory, harmful, or otherwise illegal content.
- You are solely responsible for maintaining account confidentiality and all activity under your account.
4. Attorney Referrals
- The Platform may connect users with independent third-party attorneys (“Referred Attorneys”).
- ATTORNEYS LISTED ON THE PLATFORM ARE NOT EMPLOYEES OR AGENTS OF THE PLATFORM.
- The Platform does not control, endorse, supervise, or guarantee the conduct, qualifications, competence, or outcomes of any Referred Attorney.
- The Platform does not vet, supervise, or audit referred attorneys.
- Any attorney-client relationship formed is solely between you and the Referred Attorney. All disputes must be resolved with the attorney directly.
- Attorneys may pay fees to appear on the Platform (listing fees, per-lead fees, or subscription fees).
- Attorneys become independent data controllers when receiving user information.
- THE PLATFORM ASSUMES NO LIABILITY for attorney actions, negligence, misconduct, malpractice, missed deadlines, or outcomes.
5. AI-Generated Outputs
- The Platform may generate automated insights (“Automated Output”) using AI and machine learning.
- Automated Output may be incomplete or inaccurate and must not be relied on as legal advice.
- The Platform disclaims all liability for reliance on Automated Outputs.
6. Gamified Features
Badges, attorney “comrades,” notifications, or icons are cosmetic only and do not represent endorsements, guarantees, or validation of legal claims.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
- All intellectual property on the Platform (except user submissions) remains the exclusive property of the Platform or licensors.
- You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal, non-commercial use.
8. Limitation of Liability
- The Platform and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from Platform use, attorney interaction, or reliance on automated outputs.
- The Platform is not liable for missed legal deadlines, incorrect filings, inaccurate AI outputs, attorney negligence, or user reliance.
- If the Platform is found liable, liability is capped at the lesser of:
- the fees paid by you in the previous 12 months, or
- USD $100
9. Service Availability and Modification
- The Platform may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.
- These Terms may be updated periodically; continued use constitutes acceptance.
10. Arbitration and Class-Action Waiver
- All disputes must be resolved via binding arbitration.
- You waive the right to participate in class actions or collective proceedings.
11. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
